Dear Students,

I am looking forward to another great year at Creek View Elementary School with another dynamic group of third graders!  I can't help wondering all summer long who is going to be in my class, will they like me, will we have a great year.  I wonder if you ever wondered the same things.  One thing is for sure, I always love my students.  I became a teacher because I love children.

Here are some things about me to set your mind at ease:

I love to have fun!  I love to laugh and hear your jokes and funny stories.  My motto last year was a quote by Charlie Chaplin, "A day without laughter is a wasted day."  I like to work hard so we have time for fun activities.  I love to do plays, shows, hands on activities, and technology projects. 

I love adventure!  I love traveling, hiking, biking, skiing, diving, and gardening.  I love dogs, chocolate, coffee, and kids.  I love books and reading.  I love learning and am in school this summer working on a second masters.  I have learned so many cool things to do with kids and can't wait to do them with you.  I love change.  I love to be stretched and challenged.
